The 2nd INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON GOVERNANCE INNOVATION AND SOCIAL SCIENCES

ICOGISS-2

Conference Date

16 - 18 Oktober 2020

Theme

INNOVATION AND COLLABORATION OF GOVERNANCE IN REALIZING REGIONAL RESILIENCE AND COMMUNITY WELFARE

The establishment of KAPSIPI is intended to be used as a real vehicle for the spirit of change to study Government Science philosophically, ontologically, epistemologically, axiologically and academically to produce true knowledge and usefulness in the area of governance practice. Through this paradigm shift, in the future the change in scientific substance 'Government Science' will only become an academic domain and not a domain of politicians and not to be politicized. Thus, 24 November 2015 is a new milestone and the beginning and a new spirit to answer the challenges of the existence of Government Science in the future.

The motto of KAPSIPI is Government Science for the welfare of the people. In addition to the formation of KAPSIPI, which became a real forum for studying the development of Governmental science, the lecturers in this case lecturers of governmental science throughout Indonesia agreed to form a joint forum to enhance cooperation through enhancing synergy and solidity among the lecturers. The organization is called ADIPSI which has the abbreviation of the Indonesian Government Lecturer Science Association.

The current challenge for the KAPSIPI and ADIPSI organizations is to have a measurable, clear and applicable contribution in government administration in Indonesia, especially as human behavior changes from the conventional era to the unpredictable era. This is caused by the rapid development of technology and brings fundamental changes to the delivery of government such as ICT, AI, and big data.

KAPSIPI has always tried to conduct studies to adjust the material from the latest government science, so that government science can produce graduates who are reliable and able to master technology and be able to become consultants, advisors or government partners, both at the central and regional levels. One of the points that KAPSIPI and ADIPSI want to fight for is building good governance both practically and academically in Indonesia, with efforts to strengthen the application of innovation and collaboration in the development of civilian and military communities.

On this basis, in 2020, the Government Sciences Study Program of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani of West Java will hold a meeting of KAPSIPI and MUNAS ADIPSI in October 2020. This year's meeting is the second meeting of KAPSIPI and the ADIPSI National Conference. In addition to the KAPSIPI meeting and the ADIPSI National Conference, the second International Conference on Governance Innovation and Social Sciences (ICOGISS) will also be held.
